#GirlEffect blogging campaign, my post!

Spread the word.

Today is a very important day.
It’s the first time in many years of internet that I participate in a truly collaborative action of so large extent.
I’m excited because I’m not an expert in this field, but I’m happy to be able to contribute with something. There are many things that bind me to this initiative.:
The first aspect, the least important, is technical.
Http://www.girleffect.org The site is the site that I personally have always wanted to achieve. A site that guides visitors to discover and commit to a reality. Great pictures, clear, clean and inviting messages. Arrows that guide you to the content, a video presentation that you just have to move alone to entire populations. No doubt this is the first thing that pushed me to this reality.
The second aspect of course the most important is sharing the idea.
I fully agree that one must start by training, education, from assistance and solidarity in order to make this world better. The thing that perhaps lacking a little ‘to all of us is the will, energy to be able to keep up with all these things. But it is, in my opinion, the fact of not giving up an hour of our time, what I’m doing right now, which leads to no carelessness.
I ask as I have never done this before you join and share this reality. I ask as I have never done before writing your posts for Girl Effect. I ask you to read the contents of the site and spread the word as much as you can in this week 2011-10-04 ‘til 2011-10-11. I ask you to continue to do so later, as I will, too.
This video shows that Sanchita of Bangladesh has managed to make his life better through the purchase of a cow (in America would cost $ 60). With the proceeds can support herself and provide education for its young.
$ 60 us in Europe we spend it to buy a single-leg jeans, or throw them in alcohol one evening in a room in two hours. $ 60 we make them drink at our car in a few days, $ 60, we use them to recharge our mobile phones.
These are the things that make me think more. There is a will, not so hidden, that want this world to remain unknown.
You can make a difference starting from education of a girl, giving her the opportunity to free themselves, not to marry at 13, giving her the chance to decide whether to have children one day and treat them the same way, simply by adhering to the campaigns of Girl Effect .

And I feel I am a lucky person, and I try to adhere as much as I can make this world a little more civilized.
Spread the word. Make it known to all who know of this initiative. Invite your friends to write a post from now to October 11th. Share your posts on facebook, twitter or wherever you want.

Thanks for your attention. If I was able to cover at least one of you I will feel even more fortunate.

Una Risposta a “#GirlEffect blogging campaign, my post!”
